Dear Karl,

I received a reply awhile ago but didn't respond for various reasons.
Willobe-on-the-Lake isn't known now as that. Took me a while to find that out. Why is it that you said Mentor is a wild town? Probably is but I don't mix in much to know anything about that. Without a doubt, though, there are way too many snobs in this town who don't have any reason to be so arrogant.
I lived in Granada Hills, California for a short time and wish I hadn't left to come back here to Mentor.  This place is not a healthy place to be. Don't know what we were thinking when we came back here.

Take care Karl and thanks ahead for the books.

Diane Dhawan

Thanks so much for the books.

Dear Diane,   Well, Mentor, some 65 years ago, was a long ride in a not-too-predictable car, and Mentor was where the amusement park was then.  Wow!  Parties, maybe even beer for kids?  I joke, but in my little world, then, Mentor was a long ways away and considered wild.   What's wrong with it now?  I've not been back in Ohio for years.  Many years ago I traveled through and visited my old homes, but not Mentor.   I lived on the Lake.  Had a house without central heating.  I opened my bedroom window, facing the lake, and had snow on the floor during the winter.  I certainly enjoyed that, but not today, that's for sure.   Yes, I'm sure that "Willobee-on-the-Lake" no longer exists.  It became "Erieside" about the time I left there.
Cordially,

Karl Loren
