Dear Karl, I think what you are doing is great.! We have a situation here regarding sexual abuse in the school.. and despite attempts to get them to the school board and authorities aren't doing anything about it. We have even called the safe school hotline but I guess they are so afraid of losing this little school that they have let these incidences slide. I am going to have my children visit this site because I care how they feel about themselves.Hopefully many people will see this site and it will help lots of kids because sometimes the people they should be able to depend on they can't ...  thanks, Mrs. Adams

Have you considered just reporting to the police. In many states it is a violationof law to know about a sexual abuse and NOT report it.
You liked the section on take care of yourself best. What appealed to you.

Thank you for writing so quickly.! I know you must be busy. I will look into the police matter.

As for the take care of yourself book.. I liked all the issues.. especially being a nurse I agree with it.

There are too many unneccesary surgeries done.. too much obesity ( of which I am obese myself and have always struggled with that ) too much smoking etc.. like you put in your book. We need more books like this on down to earth, what's what, with peoples habits and the consequences that we now know will occur especially with our current lifestyles.

I want my kids to read it and not just take peoples words for granted.. this will give them something to think about so that they can research and decide for themselves how they will live with smarter choices in the future.

Thank you so much for my return e-mail.  The reason I chose Moral Drift as my favorite section is because I can really identify with it, not in myself, but how I see others in the world.  I think people these days are not teaching their kids to have morals.  That is one thing that I have continuously taught my child over the past 11 years......be honest, be responsible for your actions, treat other people like you want to be treated, etc. 

In this day and time I have found it particularly difficult to keep my child from being influenced by her peers, but I am still constantly instilling these things in her and will continue to do so indefinitely. 

That is how I was raised and I feel strongly about it.  Actually that is why I have an "ex-husband."  He didn't seem to have any morals, and it was literally driving me crazy. 

I am continually telling my daughter to "Always tell the truth," even if it means it might make someone mad. 

The truth doesn't always please everyone, but the way I see it is that I was not put on this earth to please people.  I think society just doesn't have a conscience any more. 

I've seen people do unethical things and just say "Oh, what they don't know won't hurt them," and I just cringe.  No, it may not hurt the person you are being dishonest with, but I just don't see how people can constantly do dishonest things and have absolutely no guilt about it.  The world has definitely changed for the worse.

You say the world has changed for the worse.  I agree.

You can help.

But, more particularly you can help your daughter.  When the books arrive, share them with her.  Watch closely to see if she is just being polite about the codes, or whether she really agrees with them.

Then, buy a few more of these books (the store is in the package coming to you) and get her to give them to HER friends.

That is the magic of this book.  When you give it to others who are important to you, YOUR life will become more calm, and you will be happier.

If some of her friends get angry about the book?  Well, they would be good candidates for increasing the distance between herself and that person.

It will be hard for her to be moral when her friends are not.

This book can help her live in a more moral group of friends.

i really need help,  i had sex with a girl in a party by mistake, she got prignant. i am a college student i don't have money at all, the same with the pregnant girl. we can not pay for getting red of the baby. it's hes 2nd week in her body. so what i ask, if there r any orginaizations that can support us, by giving as money to go to a doctor to get red of the baby and the problem. i can't ask my parents because if they will know they gonna kill me.

Dear Tamer,
The moral thing to do is to tell your parents, and for both of you to tell her parents.  That is the moral thing to do.  Whatever you do must be a decision by both you and her, but the parents of both of you have a right to know, particularly if you are in a position where only their money can help, or where their money is supporting you in college.
I think it would be immoral for any "organization" to give you money for her to have an abortion without both parents knowing about it.
You have made the decision to have sex and must now accept the consequences.

Thanks for the comment on the sex section.
The moral code does NOT criticize homosexuality -- it does criticize promiscuous sex, whether straight or not.  The same would be true about "anxiety."  To be anxious about sex would not be seen as a moral problem as long as you are faithful to a sexual partner, not promisuous.
Not to say that these other matters may not bother someone, but the point here is that they are NOT issues of morality in this book.  This is not a "gay book" either.  It is just that sexual promiscuity is often practiced by homosexuals, and the promiscuity would be the immoral activity, not the homosexuality.  Honest gays should welcome this moral code, and straights ought not to object.
Thanks for asking for your two free copies of the book.  I call it a "common sense moral code."  It is a non-religious moral code -- and should find acceptance within any religion or even among those who don't belong to any religious group.  I think you'll find that it is just common sense.  But, our society doesn't have a moral code that can appeal to everyone -- this is it.
A copy of this message goes to Kimberly -- she works in my office and she will send out the books right away.  I am delighted at the large response I've had for this book, just in the last few days.  You will be getting this eMail response very promptly, and the books should be sent out just a day or two later.

I really think we need a site like this in this day and age and age to "wake up" America and bring people back to the morals and standards that they USED to hold back in the 1950's and early 1960's.  As to the Catholic Church, nowadays, you will find young girls going up for Holy Communion in jeans and a halter top, which you would have NEVER seen back in the 1950's!!  All women were REQUIRED to wear either hats or veils back then!  Also, the Mass is just more or less "come as you ARE", and people just wear shorts, blue jeans, etc. to church.  I just CANT'T believe it!
     The only ones who hold up to their creed that I know of are the people in the Orthodox Church and the United Pentecostal Church.  They say that God never changes, and nneither will THEY!  I will still remain Catholic, but I don't "come as you are" when I go to Mass.

Heart disease in America, and I'm sure in Italy, is mostly blamed on "high cholesterol."
That is a lie. The cholesterol lowering drugs are a massive fraud.
How can I say that when thousands of "real experts, doctors" say otherwise.
I challenge you to read the following study, with care, and find any flaw in it.  My study shows that high cholesterol is NOT a risk factor for heart disease.

Enjoy reading all your information that you offer about the sad state of affairs. I am a very involved father of an 11 year old boy who is told by words and more importantly by actions that he is loved and cared for as a very special unique child.

I am in the United States Navy. I see allot of kids coming in these days, that have no fear or respect. I am not sure where we are failing as parents but I know somewhere we all need to take a hard look at ourselves.

I try to teach my children right from wrong, but at the same time allow them to make their own mistakes.

I think we make allot of rules for the right reasons, but then for some reason they get blown way out of proportion.

I am very delighted that there's a web site dedicated to morals on the Intenet... I was specifically searching for a site like this, only to find web sites owned by various groups preaching immorality (swinger clubs, pornography sites, etc.) or web sites owned by groups preaching anti-American hatered.

I am deeply concerned with morality of the American society. I am troubled by declining marriage rates and rising divorce rates - virtual degradation of the traditional family institution. I am also very concerned with overwhelming drug abuse and excessive sexual freedoms in the society.

I beleive the lack of morals makes the society weaker against external threats. Not only against militants, but also against economic threats, with most of the factory production transferred over seas.

With the new wave of corporate scandals, American economy seems to be doomed, unless speedy measures are taken to prevent the economy from falling.

That is why I believe it is very important for people like yourself to speak up against degradation in the society. Keep it up.

Even though I am not a religious person, I do agree with your view. You are certainly correct about "moral drift" and a 'common-sense-point-of-view'. We also have 'moral drift' over here in the UK/europe as. Crimes of the most horrific kind that were once very rare, now happen almost every day.

Our society is being dragged down by drug addiction, sexual perversions (both "actually" promoted by official government

policy) violent crime, greed, corruption and dishonesty in high places.

    I love this site. Several weeks ago my husband was very ill and spent 5 days in the hospital on 6 different IV antibiotics!! They diagnosed him with "diverticulitis". You know, one of those, "We don't know how people get it, and we're not sure how to cure it, but we have a fancy name for it, and we'll try all these expensive drugs first, and if he doesn't get better then we'll try surgery, .........


    To make a long story short, I started searching the web for a better diet, since this was an intestinal problem. (That was the only thing I was sure of.) I ended up on Augenou's (sorry about the spelling) web site, which led me to your web site.


What a blessing! Slowly but surely we are changing our eating habits and I have noticed a gradual improvement in all aspects of our lives.


Your knowledge, experience, insight, and intuition are such an inspiration to me! What a delight to find someone who truly sees through all the lies that have been fed to us over the years. And to put all that information on the web for all to see!

Thank you for this great article! I have held the same moral principals as you have for years.  It is like an oasis in the desert when one runs into a like spirit.  What a shame that they are so few and far between.  I've counted on the internet to give us a greater and truer communication source.  I think it's working.  Maybe slowly but I've heard things even on TV in the last year or so that are encouraging.

It seems the American people have tried to separate morality out of their lives.  It's not possible.  Your morality, principals, truthfulness, actions, thoughts, deeds, etc. make up the person you are....you cannot judge someone on just one of these charactaristics!  Bill Clinton is a perfect example.  How anyone can praise this person is more than I can understand.  He is a liar.  Enough said.

The elitists that you have mentioned in your article have all the money they could ever need and now they strive for "power".  Look at how these powerful elitist have brainwashed the so-called environmentalists.  They are in Africa now as we speak holding one of the "summits" invented by the evil mind of none other than Maurice Strong.  It has been my goal for years to try to make him a "household" name but so far I haven't succeeded.  I do talk about him and the "masters of the universe" he runs with to any of my friends that will listen.

I commend you for your efforts in bringing to light the problems we have in this country (and the world as well) with greed and corruption.  Anyone who is alive and is taking in oxygen certainly has been exposed to this problem over and over.

Now, please allow me to return to the reason why I am writing to you.

I know from reading your "Wednesday Letters" over the past
year that you are very desirous of spreading the truth with regards to medical malpractice and the "duping" of the
American public concerning health issues.  You are to be commended for these efforts.  You are like a light shining in the wilderness! 

Immoral behavior is not new to the 21st Century.  It has been with us since the fall of man in the Garden of Eden.  Yes,
this really happened in history.  I know a lot of people
think that this is a religious fairy tale spread to keep
people until the control of the church (whatever the word
"Church" means to you and others).

The original meaning of the word "church" (Greek Word ---
"ekklesia") means a "calling out".  Those who have received Jesus Christ as their own personal Lord and Savior have been baptized by the Holy Spirit.  In other words, they have the "indwelling Holy Spirit" in their hearts.  They have been born from above and their sins have been forgiven by the shed blood of Jesus on the cross of Calvary. 

Unfortunately, millions upon millions of people in this
world think they are Christians because they belong to a denomination and go into a church building.  They also have a mistaken idea that if an organized church baptizes them in water that they are "saved".  Years ago someone gave me a good analogy of what happens in many people's lives:  Here is that example: 

"Just because you go into a garage it does not make you an automobile.  The same applies for church buildings.  Going into a church building or even receiving their version of sacraments does not make you a true christian!"

Over 25 years ago I received Christ as my own personal Lord
and Savior.  Later I was baptized with water but that act
was only done in obedience to Christ and to publicly identify with his burial and ressurection.  When I received the Holy Spirit my sins were forgiven as far as the east is from the west!  As the bible says:  They were buried with Christ!

Now, getting back to the problem of immorality.  All of us
have a sin nature that we inheirited from Adam.  The big difference is that when I received Christ my sins including past, present and future were forgiven by His shed blood. Yes, I belong to a local body of believers and we meet in a building to worship the Lord but the simple fact that I am on the membership role does not make me any better than anyone else.  I am just a sinner saved by grace.  I still have the old sin nature but as I yield myself each day to
the Lord He is gradually changing me to conform with Him.  
This is a process that will go on until I meet him in eternity.

Karl, I have a great deal of respect for you.  I know that
you are deeply involved in the Church of Scientology and
that you believe in the teachings of L. Ron Hubbard.  I know that Mr. Hubbard died several years ago and I hope that
before he died that he made peace with Jesus Christ.  Christ's own words are this:  "No man came come to the Father (God) except through Me."

I am not very hopeful that this world will get better.  The bible tells us that in the end times men will become lovers of themselves and that immorality will increase.  I do not believe that any man knows when the end will come.  The bible says that only our Father God knows the exact time and He has not even revealed this to His Son -- The Lord Jesus Christ.  You can read about this in the Book Of Revelation. (Rev. 3:3) We can, however, be aware of the signs of Christ's return based on the
prophesy that has already been fulfilled.   One of the major
prophesies relates to the Nation Israel and the return of
Jews from all over the world in the last 50 + years.

The organized church has done a horrible job over the last 2,000 years.  They have distorted the true teachings of the bible.  For example, the Roman Catholic Church used to "sell" what they called "indulgences" in order to be cleared of sin. One would have to travel to Rome and bring lots of money to be forgiven of their sins.  This is no longer practiced, however, the Roman Catholics still require their followers to go to a priest for forgiveness of sin.  A CLEAR VIOLATION OF GOD'S TEACHINGS IN HIS SCRIPTURE.  Since you are student of history you probably know that Martin Luther rebelled against the Roman Catholic Church and pointed out that scripture clearly taught that your are saved by grace  -- it is a gift from God.  -- Ephesians 2:8 & 9 and Romans 6:23.

Again I return to the subject of morality.  As long we have breath we need to speak against morality in our society. 
The founders of our country for the most part tried to
construct a constitution that reflected the principles found
in God's Word.  No, they were not perfect men but it is the best that man has ever done to attempt to live by God's principles.  Our country's legal establishment has tried for many years to pull away from the constitution's principles and this slide has been one of the biggest reasons for our moral decline.

I am sure that you have read the bible many times.  Any one with your intelligence could not avoid this book.  Have you ever asked God to reveal His Son Jesus Christ to you as you read in all sincerity?  The best place to start is the Gospel of John not the Book of Genesis.  I will be praying that you will take up this challenge!  God WILL HONOR YOU SINCERE INQUIRIES!
